On 8 October 2008 KSF entered into Administation and ME Mills, AR Bloom, PJ Brazzill and TM Burton were appointed to act as Administrators. The appointment was made by the High Court of Justice Chancery Division, Companies Court on the application of the Financial Services Authority. On 26 April 2013, TM Burton resigned as Administrator and BT Cairns was appointed to act as Joint Administrator. The appointment was made by the High Court of Justice Chancery Division, Companies Court on the application of the continuing Joint Administrators.  On 7 April 2017, BT Cairns resigned as Administrator and RP Barker was appointed to act as Joint Administrator. The appointment was made by the High Court of Justice Chancery Division, Companies Court on the application of the continuing Joint Administrators. On 22 January 2020 AR Bloom and ME Mills resigned as Administrators and SJ Edel was appointed to act as Joint Administrator. The appointment was made by the High Court of Justice Chancery Division, Companies Court on the application of the continuing Joint Administrators.

 

Patrick Joseph Brazzill, Richard Peter Barker and Simon Jamie Edel are licensed in the United Kingdom to act as insolvency practitioners by the Insolvency Practitioners Association.


The affairs, business and property of Kaupthing Singer & Friedlander Limited are being managed by the Joint Administrators PJ Brazzill, RP Barker and SJ Edel. The Joint Administrators act as agents of the Company only and without personal liability.


The Joint Administrators may act as data controllers of personal data as defined by the UK General Data Protection Regulation (as incorporated in the Data Protection Act 2018), depending upon the specific processing activities undertaken. Ernst & Young LLP and/or the Company may act as a data processor on the instructions of the Joint Administrators.
