Residential Developments
We have long experience in financing multi-unit residential projects for open market sale in metropolitan areas where it should, as a backstop be easier to rent out property if the sales market weakens.
Typical projects have been conversions of former warehouse and factory buildings into contemporary apartments. We deal with pure residential projects as well as live/work units.
We are different from our competitors in that we are willing to lend experienced property professionals with a proven track record when they may not have sufficient cash equity to meet the lending criteria of other traditional residential lenders.
In providing this type of finance, we typically seek a return linked to performance of the development.
We will also consider more conventional residential developments, including the refurbishment of individual flats or houses for on-sale subject to a minimum amount of £500,000.
